qualMeter is very simple to use. There are no numbers required to read, no buttons, no extra operations, no calculations and no technical background is needed. All you need to know is just the colours. Green, Yellow and Red correspond to Best(Good), Fair (OK) and Worst(Bad). That's it!

You see colours; you see the quality of your cable and charger.

The following videos give a brief instructions on how to properly use qualMeter for different testing tasks.

    Cable Test

Cable Test mode will be enabled when both ends of a cable have been connected with qualMeter, then plug the qualMeter into a 5V USB power source. The blue Cable Test indicator (the left one) will be turned on. You can find out the quality of this cable by reading the Quality Indicators on the left. The orange LED indicator tells you the testing current.

CAUTION: PLEASE DO NOT CONNECT THE OTHER END OF YOUR USB CABLE TO AN USB POWER SOURCE!!! THIS MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR QUALMETER!!!

    Charger Test

Directly plug your qualMeter into any 5V USB power source to test its output capability. The testing result shows right after few seconds via the LED Quality Indicators on the left side. The orange LED indicator tells you the testing current.

    Cable Short Circuit Test

When you plug qualMeter at Cable Test Mode, the red LED indicator will start flashing If your cable is shorted. You should stop using this cable immediately!

    Shielded Cable Test

A shielded cable usually has better quality. It's not only good for charging but also benefits data transferring.

    Reversible USB plug

With the reversible USB plug design, you don't have to worried about the direction of plugging into a USB port.
